The weekend my family visited us we went to a nearby apple orchard in search of some fall fun. While the orchard was beautiful, we weren't able to actually pick the apples. Rhonda and Gary escorted the boys around a corn maze. For lunch we stopped at a Bavarian Inn for some very authentic German food. Surprisingly, there were several vegetarian options. We were even serenaded by an accordion player in lederhosen.

Long pants and jackets! I am so jealous. We went to McKinney Falls today and sweated in the heat and humidity. Just another fall day in Austin.....
there may be something fun about minnesota after all.
