The Nguyen house was quite excited to learn that Barack Obama will be the next president. I guess Owen expected change to happen immediately as he asked "Did Obama end the war yet?"
Last night the boys had the chance to cast a vote for president as well. An organization called "Kids Voting" set up booths where kids could vote by circling the picture of the candidate on a special ballot. They were very excited at first, but the excitement wore off during dinner when they realized their votes probably didn't count. I told them you need to be 18 years old to vote. Miles asked why my vote counted even though I'm not 18.
