Oceans of Fun

We've been up to our ears in paint, scissors and glue the past week in preparation for the school carnival. As you can tell from the pictures it was an ocean theme this year. I was co-chair for the decorations, but the kids could have easily run the show. Most of the decorations were created by students at afterschool art sessions. We had some leftover cardboard in the garage that Owen and Miles used to make giant cut-outs. Owen is proudly standing next to his Poseiden, and Miles is showing off his mermaid that hung in the cafeteria. It was fun while it lasted, but let's just say this mama is glad it's over.
