Owen's scout meeting was cut short on Saturday due to some ominous clouds that were moving in. We missed the storm where we were, but saw the aftermath as we got close to our neighborhood. Apparently a hail storm with gusty winds passed through. The streets and lawns looked like they were covered with snow. People were using snow shovels to clear the hail from the sidewalks. Some of our neighbors, natives to MN, said they have never seen a hail storm like this. When we turned the corner to our house we saw a huge branch that broke off from the tree next door. It knocked off an awning but luckily nothing else was damaged.
