Since Owen and Miles were off the entire week of Thanksgiving we took off on a roadtrip to see those who are near and dear to us. Unfortunately the weather in Iowa didn't cooperate both going and returning home. But thanks to Liem's expert winter driving, we made it safely. Here are some of the highlights, in reverse order.
The day after Thanksgiving we celebrated Christmas with the Fehrs.

What would Thanksgiving be without football? This is the side of my Dad's house where we played many football and other games as kids. It sure seemed bigger back then.

Owen, Miles and I went along with my Mom on here "Meals On Wheels" route.

The Nguyens go to Washington? Really this was the home of J. Sterling Morton, the founder of Arbor Day. We made a stop in Nebraska City on our way to visit my parents.

On our way to Nebraska we stopped in Lawrence, KS to see Cathy and her family. Everytime I visit, I always manage to leave with very few photos. I guess we're too busy talking and playing cards. Once again, this is the only one I got during our 3 day visit. Thanks for hosting us! It was great seeing you!
