The last time we visited Austin in December 2008, we missed out on seeing the Lucas clan. They left town for the holidays the day we arrived. So I was super excited to hear they would be visiting Meghan's parents in Oswego, NY the same time we'd be driving through upstate NY on our way back to Minnesota. Even though our visit was brief and included a trip to the ER (Owen broke his collar bone), it was great to see our dear friends again. Meghan's parents packed an amazing spread for us and we picnicked on the shores of Lake Ontario.
