It's always questionable how much a toddler really understands about their birthday. But Eli seemed to be in the know when he went around the house all day Saturday saying "blow candles". He had so much fun blowing them out that we sang "Happy Birthday" twice so he could do it again. His favorite things these days are still trains, cars, trucks, tractors, etc...When he goes to bed he brings at least a few vehicles into his crib with him. He loves following his brothers around. One result of this is instead of "Wheels on the Bus" his favorite songs are from High School Musical. He has also started an obsessive and complicated bedtime routine involving specific blankets, pillows, teddy bears, & light switches.

Hope your boys are healing from broken bones too... You guys play realy rough in the North!
