Winter Has Arrived

This was the scene at the bus stop this morning. According to my neighbor, only 5 1/2 more months of winter.



Miles came rushing in the house to tell me the pumpkins have white hats on. I'm glad at least someone is excited about the snow.

As I sit here in jeans and a short sleeve T-shirt with the windows open, wondering if it will ever rain again, and barring that, if it will ever cool off, I feel some envy. (But not a lot!)
