Signs of Spring?

Poor Miles is completely confused by the seasons in Minnesota. He said they made "Spring Journals" at school because the first day of spring is coming. But then he asked how the flowers will come up when there is snow on the ground. I had to break it to him that we probably won't see flowers for two more months. Here are a couple of pictures from a recent sledding outing. No sign of flowers here.
